| The Gordon Independent School District offers K-12 education. GISD is equipped with all of the latest technology, the teachers set high standards for the students and the students are very active in their academics and extra-curricular activities. The school is classified by the UIL as Class 1A and competes in six-man football. The Gordon Longhorns football team has enjoyed years of success, winning two state championships in the last 10 years. |
